Quality Assurance Reviews are an important part of the support we provide to our clients. We pride ourselves on the systematic monitoring and evaluation of our services as a whole including documentation, staffing, policies & procedures, and health & safety practices. Additionally, we strive to surpass the minimum agency standards set by the FCBDD and meet our own high expectations of excellence.
Quality Assurance Reviewers visit clients’ homes four times a year while Program Coordinators and HSC Nurses visit homes at least monthly. Quality Assurance Reviewers, Program Coordinators, and Nurses perform thorough inspections of individual-specific documentation to ensure the completion of ISP goals as well as proper financial and healthcare practices. Reviews also include health & safety checks including adaptive equipment, OSHA requirements, emergency kits, and procedures. We also check homes (with permission) for acceptable cleaning standards and adequate supplies of food and personal items. Clients may also have the opportunity to ask questions or express concerns to the Reviewer, Program Coordinator or Nurse.
